1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HireMyContractor ("we", "us", or "our") and our website, you agree to the terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided
HireMyContractor connects homeowners with our trusted partner network for home improvement or maintenance projects in Connecticut. We coordinate projects, communication, and may perform smaller eligible jobs under our own license/registration, while larger or regulated trade projects may be performed by properly licensed contractor partners.
3. Contractor Partner Network
We maintain a network of independent contractors who are in agreement in terms of quality, legality, and completion of the work they perform. Partners are verified for licensing, insurance, and professional standards appropriate for their trade.
4. Quotes, Estimates, and Scope
Quotes and estimates are based on the information provided by your an/or a site assessment. Final pricing and scope are confirmed with our partners if necessary and may change due to unexpected conditions or if additional work is needed.
5. Scheduling, Deposits, and Payments
Scheduling is confirmed based on availability. Deposits and payments are disclosed prior to work beginning. Payments to partners are placed on our behalf. All payments are non-refundable except as provided in Section 9.
6. Change Orders and Project Modifications
Any changes to scope, materials, timeline or price must be documented in writing and approved by you and us. Additional time and costs may be required.
7. Homeowner Responsabilites
You agree to provide access to the property, accurate information, and a safe work environment. You are responsiblefor removing personal items and securing pets unless otherwise agreed.
8. Licensing, Insurance, and Permits
We and our contractor partners maintain required licenses and insurance as required by Connecticut law. Permits, if requires, will be obtains by the appropriate party as agreed in writing.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing Deposits may be non-refundable and if work has been scheudled or materials ordered. See your project agreement for details
10. Warranties and Workmanship
Our partner network warrants their work as does HireMyContractor in according to the terms provided to you for your project. Product warranties are provided by the manufacturers.
11. Independant Contractor Disclaimer
Contractor partners are independent contractors, not employees or agents of HireMyContractor. We are not liable for the acts of omissions of partners beyond our obligations under these Terms.
12. Website Use and Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, logos, and graphics, is owned by HireMyContractor and proected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use our contect without written permssion.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HireMyContractor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damaged. Our total liability for any claim is limited ot the ampount you paid for the services giving rise to the claim.
14. Privacy and Communications
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to receive communications from us related to your project, service updates, and account information.
15. Governing Law
These terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Connecticut.
16. SMS Policy
HireMyContractor LLC does not share mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.
